The Halus family is likely to be made up of different groups (guessing). Otters had been spotted here a few years ago, from very large group then to smaller, then to 1, then 6, then 9, 11,13 and latest group sighting was 14 at the same time. They are of different sizes, some look really young.

These otters travel extensively, up and down of the water body from Coney Island, Punggol waterway, Serangoon reservoir and as far as hougang River end. And the family also crosses into the sea and back regularly.

This group is by far the largest in numbers in Singapore.
